Herdman is built for farms where the pen has no signal and the phone is a budget Android. Every weighing, treatment, dip and move is kept with who recorded it, when and where. A mistake is corrected with a new entry and never erased, so the history stands up for a stock-theft case, an insurance claim or a buyer asking about withdrawal.

Works with no signal
Everything is recorded on the phone and sent when there is a connection. A week-old record is normal, and two people counting the same house offline add up instead of overwriting each other.
History nobody can rewrite
Each entry keeps who recorded it, on which phone, when and where. A correction is a new entry beside the original, so the trail holds up when it matters.
Withdrawal enforced
Record a treatment and Herdman works out the meat and milk withdrawal. An animal still in withdrawal cannot be recorded as sold or slaughtered.

Questions farmers ask us.
Does it really work with no signal?
Yes. Everything is recorded on the phone first and sent when there’s a connection, whether that’s an hour later or a week later. Nothing recorded at the pen is lost because the network dropped.
What do my handlers need?
An Android phone. Herdman is built for the budget models most farm teams already carry. Managers can use the web dashboard in any browser.
Which animals does it handle?
Cattle, goats, sheep, pigs and poultry. Animals can be recorded one by one with a tag, or counted as a batch, which suits a broiler house or an untagged goat mob.
Can I bring the records I already have?
Yes. Import your existing spreadsheet of animals or batches. Herdman copes with messy columns and shows you anything it couldn’t read instead of guessing.
What if someone records something wrong?
They correct it, and the correction is added to the record alongside the original. Nothing is silently overwritten, which is exactly what makes the history worth trusting.
What happens if I stop paying?
You get 14 days’ grace, after which new entries pause. You can still read every record and export all of it, including a whole-farm backup, for as long as you like.
Can Herdman talk to our other systems?
Yes. Signed webhooks and API keys let an abattoir, accountant or in-house tool receive events as they happen.
